CHE Mesoamerica Region Quick Summary January-February 2012.

New converts reported (with picture) in January from the CHE Village of El Suj among the Quiche people in Guatemala. Will you pray for their growth?  They are Catarina, Celestina, Juana, Santos, Elias and Elida.

The church in Monte Cristo Guatemala worked together with the STM team from Calvary Meth Church from Annapolis Jan 14–22. Besides children ministered with music and VBS, medical-dental care, the new bathroom facility for the church will make a big difference in their lives….

By the end of 2011 the school in Las Granadillas (a Mam CHE village) was lacking enough room, the students were wanting to learn but they looked like this…….see below…

 ….God´s intervention through Comm United Meth Church from Crofton Maryland plus the local CHE committee has transformed the learning environment into this….Halleluya!

Only the Lord knows how many better educated housewives, workers, professionals, ministers, CHEs, will come out of this public school with freedom to do wholistic education.


The STM team also helped dusting, re-organizing our office in Xela, gardening, working a new computerized system for our mobile pharmacy/clinic and building the wooden frame for our new trailer and etc….. in this picture: Mike and Steve.

Dr. Hugo co-led 2 workshops during the National Short Term Mission Conference
held in Tucson Arizona January 26-28.  Then from Arizona to Rocky Point Mexico to do follow up to the CHE Training Team there. TOT 2 was accomplished by 60% to the local team with the sponsorship from One Mission and more churches in Arizona and the local churches.

The CHE village of La Cieneguilla among the Quiche people in Guatemala were very blessed to have among them the STM team from Calvary Church Muscatine Iowa Feb 10 through 18. The work accomplished inside the new church facility plus VBS, medical and dental clinic, new converts and the relationships been enriched in all directions can only be to the Lord’s Glory….

The turn to host the STM team from Mission Comm Church from Gilbert Arizona was for the CHEs at the village of Chirramos to continue together the concrete slab roof project for the new facility of the CHE planted church, February 26–March 4.

Praise God with us!…He continues to hear our cry to send more laborers to His Harvest! Matthew 9: 35-39.  Will you join too?  The fields are white! the harvest is here!.
