Owed News for the Summer Months

We all/GCE  have been very busy during the recent months. CHE Trainings across the Mesoamerica Region and beyond, Short Term Mission Teams, Administration improvements, Entering new communities,   “Relief interventions”….in CHE???  How???….. let us share with you some fruit reported from our fellow workers on the front lines out there on the field.

  • Valeria at the CHE Village El Tablon in El Salvador. Now 18 year old, shares freely how she suffered rape from her foster father. As result of that her daughter is 2 year old. Valeria had become isolated and marginalized inside her home since the trauma. Since she became involved with the CHE Women group she started relationships with more people but mainly to experience God`s love to forgive herself and the family and society. Now she is able to smile again as fruit of the spiritual and participatory development CHE lessons recovering the joy of Life in Jesus Christ.
  • Our teams and CHE villages in Guatemala and El Salvador have blessedly worked with the following Short Term Mission teams (multiform Godly gifted: Medical/dental, Water Wells/systems, construction, VBS, Women, Children, Veterinary, Home visiting/witnessing, all among the Wholism in CHE):
      • Calvary United Methodist Church, Annapolis Maryland
      • Littleton Bible Chapel, Colorado
      • Deer Creek Church, Littleton Colorado
      • First Baptist Church, Pine, Arizona
      • Veterinary Team Drs, Tom & Diane Schiefer plus Jim Noble, Arizona
      • Focused Living Ministries, Camden, South Carolina
      • Living Word Chapel, Oracle, Arizona
      • Pure Heart Church, Peoria, Arizona
      • Bethany Bible Church, Phoenix.

  •  CHE Trainings:
      • In Ciudad Cuauhtemoc, Chihuahua
      • With “Sin Fronteras” Tlaxiaco Oaxaca
      • Compassion Min. Nazarene Church Tuxtla, Gtz, Mexico
      • Honduras
      • With e3Partners/Bible Churches Costa Rica
      • Panama
      • SIFAT Alabama
      • Global Hope Network Int Hawaii

  • Fuego Volcano Eruption in Guatemala: The Government records of several hundreds killed and disappeared are known to be short. More than 65,000 families instantly became unemployed as the coffee farms in the affected area were damaged or destroyed. We were blessed to channel a handful of generous donations from our partners through Dr. Franklin Cordon/ Social Action Ministries of the Church of God whom we are partnering with. They were good stewards and blessed thousands with medical clinics, medications and supplies.
  • Then urged by the disaster we rushed to hold the CHE Training Seminar “Local Risk Management in Disaster Prevention”. CHE Villages Committees in Guatemala and El Salvador were represented among the 34 who were trained at our CHE Center still been developed but already in use.
  • Last May during the International Wholistic Mission Conference and Global CHE Network meetings at Grand Canyon University Phoenix, CHE Founder Stan and Rose Rowland were acknowledged for been such instruments in the Hands of God to have started what now is a Global Movement, more than 625 organizations in more than 130 countries implementing CHE and growing.
