God At Work In San Marcos Niza, Guatemala
Global CHE Enterprises has been working in San Marcos Niza, a village in the coastal plains of western Guatemala for 5 years. Amazing things have happened — a new water system, a new school is under construction, backyard agricultural projects abound and the physical and spiritual health of the community has improved.
In addition, the church has grown! Here is a picture of the old church, and the new church which was built right beside the old one.
Al and Jessie Anderman and Karl and Debbie Mueller (Al and Karl are members of the Global CHE Enterprises Board of Directors) along with Dr. Hugo Gomez, Hugo Gomez Jr. and two CHE trainers (Nasario and Margarito) were able to visit San Marcos Niza on April 12. They met with the CHE Committee, listened to the stories of what God has been doing, and toured the village. It was obvious to see the pride of the CHE Committee and the villagers in what they have accomplished over the years. The transformation was not just physical — it was spiritual, emotional and social — it was wholistic — in every sense of the word.
The children — as usual, were a joy.

Continue to pray for the people of San Marcos Niza and for those leading the continuing transformation efforts. Global CHE Enterprises is grateful for Saratoga Presbyterian Church in Saratoga, California and all of our partners who have walked alongside the leadership of this village over the past five years.
