Sharing with you some testimonies of January to March 2014
Enlarge the place of thy tent, and let them stretch forth the curtains of thine habitations; spare not: lengthen thy cords, and strengthen thy stakes.
For thou shalt spread abroad on the right hand and on the left; and thy seed shall possess the nations, and make the desolate cities to be inhabited.
Fear not; for thou shalt not be ashamed: neither be thou confounded; for thou shalt not be put to shame: for thou shalt forget the shame of thy youth, and the reproach of thy widowhood shalt thou remember no more.
For thy Maker is thine husband; the LORD of hosts is his name: and the Holy One of Israel is thy redeemer; the God of the whole earth shall he be called. Isaiah 54
At GCE we have received this Word and believe it and are continuously marveled to see how the Lord accomplishes it!
We praise God that we can share this news with everyone who prays and walks with GCE and the CHE Mesoamerica Region. Please take a moment to read the following blessings received from January to March!

In January, we were blessed to have the visit of the short term mission team from Bethany Bible Church, Phoenix AZ. Led by Pastor Brad Pellish, they were able to bring Bibles and medications worth several thousand dollars for the ministry and also some great encouragement! We were very thankful because our previous supplies were running low. The Lord always provides!

The Mam Team of trainers in Guatemala baptized 18 people to begin 2014!
Below: What were these Mam villagers lining up for?
Food, clothing, handouts? No.
They brought their own ingredients to produce their own feed for their poultry projects as they had been taught by CHE trainers.
They were told that the mobile CHE grinder was in turn coming to their village of Los Mendez. Now they are able to produce more animal protein for their nutrition through their poultry projects. The investment of Mission Community Church in Gilbert AZ and the Christian Veterinary Mission among the Mam and Quiche teams is multiplying the end product of this project.

Rancho la Paloma in Tecate B.C. Mexico hosted the first North Mexico Area CHE Council in January. Mexico Area Coordinator Pastor Jacob Sotelo and Raquel were blessed to have key people attending the meeting.
They presented how good stewardship is implemented and they also did CHE with Children Training of Trainers Seminar. How wonderful to have had partners present like 1Mission and Dr. Jody Collinge from Global CHE Network!

As we write this post the container is on a ship on it’s way to Nicaragua! The other two units, in Guatemala and Honduras, have been to put to good use with our partners Deer Creek Church and Littleton Bible Chapel, CO.

Early February the short term missions team from Calvary United Methodist Church in Annapolis, Maryland, found the church at Monte Cristo looking like this below….
…the local CHEs had prepared the work site by removing the old broken roof.
After few days of intense work, visitors working alongside with locals were able to humbly and happily show the what they had accomplished together. The new steel roof structure will last longer. Praise be to God!
The teas were even able to spare time to go to visit the CHE Property to encourage and pray with us right there. Nelson, Bill and Dean together with Vitelio and Hugo (above).

Our Area Coordinator, Roger Pavon, and CHE FIEMCA team are in charge of the continuation of the housing project. This time Argentina, widow and mother of seven children, is blessed to be the first one on the island benefitting from this project. Two separate teams focused on water purification visited our CHE villages last March. First, our supporting partners from Bay Presbyterian Church, Ohio and Second from Shepperd of the Hills Presbyterian Church Austin Texas. Both are planning on returning to install water purification systems at villages where GCE has helped with wells or springs for their water supply. Please pray with us that they will be return soon.

We started this post sharing the Scripture on Isaiah 54. As you have heard the land lady of the place we rented for office for 12 years has requested us to turn her house back and the deadline is April 30.
Here (below) is what the lot of land we have been guided to rent looked like a month ago.
Below is what it looks like so far in preparation for the prefabricated structure and truck cargo boxes to help us keep our office goods protected and in use. Pray for funds to be provided and multiplied so we will be able to see the ministry continuously accomplished in GCE!
Praising God for His care and your support of GCE.
On behalf of the Board of Directors, the CHE Mesoamerica Region fellow servants
and the Gomez Family. Quetzaltenango, Guatemala, April of 2014.
