Enterprises in the Kingdom of God

If you ever wondered Why our humble organization is labeled “Enterprises” instead of “Ministries or Missions” or another more widely used term, remember Dr. Hugo is a Guatemala Citizen who was born and grew up as native Spanish speaker.

The Spanish version Reina-Valera for Luke 2:49 (which Hugo grew up with) reads “business” instead of “House of my Father” just like the King James Version does.  So, in GCE, our Partners and Ourselves are about His Enterprises in the Kingdom of God. So many times it is easy to hear they call us “Global CHE” by saving their breath avoiding to say “Enterprises”.

We are part of the worldwide “Global CHE Network” which we represent and Coordinate for the  Mesoamerica Region.

Business of Our Father

This Business of Our Father keep bringing Much Fruit to Him like Hermetania and Husband Salomon. She was healed from a chronic disease when she surrendered her life to Jesus Christ upon been visited by the CHE volunteer villagers at El Suj on the Cuchumatanes Range of  Mountains.

Last March our CHE teams of Trainers were so encouraged and given more credibility at the eyes of the Villagers of two locations: La Presa and Santa Fe. The combined Short Term Mission Team from Oro Valley Church of the Nazarene Arizona and a Costa Rican Nazarene Church also ministered the two villages shoulder to shoulder with our local CHE Teams:

If Poverty is Multidimensional likewise our Enterprises must be Multidisciplinary like with Jesus Methodology. Matthew 9:35-36 summarizes His Methodology: Teaching, Preaching and Healing so all of us in CHE endeavor to do this:

The CVM Christian Veterinary Mission Short Term Team came on the third week of March and did teach the local CHE Villagers how to administer Vaccines, to Deparasite and Vet Meds when needed:

The Association of Pastors in Quetzaltenango did again their Assembly at our CHE Training Center in San Felipe Retalhuleu last April.

Then on the Last week of May we hosted the Greater Payson Arizona Churches Mission Team to help by joining our local teams at two Mam CHE villages doing Medical-Dental clinics plus Bible Teaching to children. The Villages of Los Perez and Los Marroquines received witness:

New endeavor for Enterprising at the CHE Center. The First Harvest from our try (small scale ME) to grow Tilapia has bear 2 pounds or heavier fish. Now  we are aiming to grow more fish with Appropriate Community Technology  so CHEs could learn and replicate at their own context for Food Security and Income. Our CHE Center also aims to grow to be self sufficient:

CHE Trainer Neftali and Hugo reinforcing the CHE Committee Training at the village of La Loma among the Mam People. They are already expanding to a neighboring village –El Porvenir-  and needed some refreshing for CHE Implementation:

Felipe, Faustino, Marcos, Santiago and Hugo attended a Conference invited by ECHO. Now we expect to follow up the new contacts and improve our Agricultural Approach to CHE Training.

On June 22^nd through 29^th.  Mam CHE Trainer Felipe and Hugo went to Lima, Peru to share a CHE TOT1 Seminar/Workshop to Leaders of the Assemblies of God and the Quechua National Church. The Transform World Network invited us GCE. The TW now is partnering with the Global CHE Network GCN:

Prayer Items

1. This week July 13-19 we will be hosting and Teaching a TOT1 Workshop/Seminar to Leaders from various denominations from Nicaragua, Honduras, El Salvador, Mexico, USA and Guatemala convened by Transform World/Global CHE Network.  It will be at Our CHE Training Center.
2. As Hugo has been assigned to be one of the speakers at the International Wholistic Missions Conference IWMC in Albania, October 1^st-4^th Please pray for the travel expenses and Health. Miriam will not travel with me due to her health limitations.

3. The Mission Team from Living Word Chapel, Oracle, Arizona will be coming in August, please begin praying for them.
