Breaking out of a Cycle of Depression, Anxiety and Demotivation to Abundant Life

Norma Sanchez a lady in the CHE village of Rosario Tablon in El Salvador shares with us All:

“I would not even consider myself as to have the minimum ability or creativity for crafts. I recall how I would never read the Bible or attend any church but worst of all never would talk to God. I used to live in depression, in anxiety feeling demotivated. I have gone through a process led in the Love of God by people like CHE Trainer Juan Sandoval and Rosita Sandoval plus their CHE Teams. It was until few months ago that I was reached by the CHE team who motivated me to join the CHE Woman (Women’s Cycle of Life) group in my community. I realized the Love of God through the witness of the CHEs and besides learning crafts to keep busy. The study of the Word of God guided me to connect with God and began to be nourished spiritually. So I am very thankful to God for allowing me to become part of the CHE Woman Program” – Norma Sanchez

Pray for Norma to continue to grow and develop to also become a discipler/trainer.

In July the Transform World Network TW (now a partner of the Global CHE Network GCN) brought to us a first group of Pastors and Leaders of four denominations in Mesoamerica to take the  CHE Trainer of Trainers 1 seminar/Workshop (TOT1).  Panama, Costa Rica, Nicaragua, Honduras, El Salvador, Mexico, Guatemala and the USA were present at our CHE Center in Guatemala. Pray with us please that these leaders will become instruments of multiplication of Community Health Evangelism in the Kingdom.

Last August our Quiche CHE village of Chirramos welcomed the Short Term Mission Team from our partner Church Living Word Chapel from Oracle Arizona. The local congregation at this CHE planted church “Prince of Peace”  over 20 years ago were given a big thrust now on their construction project for an extension covered area on the concrete roof of the church facility. The visiting construction crew working shoulder to shoulder with locals made it possible to complete the Roof structure in only 4 days!!!.  In the same fashion the VBS team built on the lives of the children in the village. So Wholism continues to be sustainable there but your prayers are also needed.

El Salvador GCE Team welcomed the Short Term Mission Team from our partner Pure Heart Fellowship Church from Glendale, Arizona in September. Their adaptability to the context and local circumstances are already a witness to many.  The local CHE teams received encouragement as the visiting team joined for the CHE Core routine work of Home Visits to implement the wholistic physical and spiritual approach which continues to let CHE be impactful onto Development and Transformation.

Without LePSAS (our CHE Methodology for the Learning/Teaching process) our efforts would be fruitless. You can see how our CHE teams in Guatemala and Nicaragua also share their outreach implementing the Methodology of Jesus: Teaching, Preaching and Healing.  In Guatemala:

In Nicaragua:

International Wholistic Missions Conference IWMC Albania 2025 October 1-4th

We are so grateful as we requested your prayer support on our last Newsletter of July and then your extra donations in order to let us GCE participate with 240 CHE practitioners/disciplers from 36 countries. So we were there: Juan Sandoval, GCE team coordinator in El Salvador. Felipe & Lidia Morales, GCE Team Coordinator among the Mam People in Guatemala. We missed Caleb Urbina our GCE-FIEMCA CHE Team Coordinator in Nicaragua due to a delayed return of his passport with a Transit Visa through Canada. Caleb had to cancel his flights at the last minute.

Felipe Morales was given the privilege to share his testimony of Development and Transformation during one of the workshops Track. Felipe & Lidia are a wholistic fruit, from the Cycle of Multidimensional Poverty to Abundant life in Christ. Now Felipe as a Pastor and CHE Team Coordinator is multiplying himself through CHE.

Hugo was assigned to speak at a plenary session on the topic of Long Term Sustainability, God send a message titled “From the Harpoon to Fishing Nets onto Fish Ponds” in summary an analogy about how in CHE we have evolved from Community Development Projects to Training/Discipling Programs then onto Network/Movement. Jesus started the Movement. CHE is in His Movement. Our One Million Village Challenge in the CHE Network for the years 2033 will be accomplished if we are One in His Movement.

Hugo stepped down as Vice-Chairman of the Representative Council after 9 years (serving for three terms). But GCE continues to be represented on the Rep. Council as our GCE-FIEMCA Nicaragua CHE Team Coordinator was voted (through Zoom) to become a member of the Board during the previous day Sept 30th Rep Council Meeting. Caleb Urbina was welcomed. Pray for Caleb to be a blessed instrument.

Join us, we invite you to the 2026 IWMC to be held in Chiapas Mexico!!! October 14-16. Please begin praying as the Holy Spirit guides you to.
