Meso-America February 2013 Update
Mexico
Pastor Jacob Sotelo—our Mexico Area Coordinator– has happily shared how just recently the very first CHE Committee was formed on the Tarahumara Range of Mountains at the village of “Cieneguita de la Barranca”. The CHE Team of Trainers from the partnership Tarahumara Hospital/Mexico Medical Mission & Global CHE Enterprises are beginning to see the long prayed for goal accomplished from the work of their hands and feet approaching the second phase of CHE implementation: The Training Phase.
Having completed the Entering the Community Phase after a couple of years of challenging work among this isolated culture for decades exposed to harmful relief now the Light through CHE has come to the Tarahumara.
Far left Trainer Dr. Josefa DDS. Then Yolanda, Rosa y Veronica. Rosendo (Chendo), Jose Manuel (Chunel), Pablo. Pastor Jacob, Area Coordinator at the right in lower row.
Below, you can see the River Crossing Story played by the participants recently trained on TOT1 at Rancho La Paloma, Tecate, Baja. 45 Pastors and church leaders from Mexico and the USA were led to begin their journey in CHE ministry.
(Doing things for people who can do for themselves will hurt them more than help them= Relief, above)
(Doing with them or equipping them to do for themselves will transform and develop people to depend on God).
Pastor Jacob andRaquel plus Ellie andEnrique Lugo did train this bold and obedient group of new Trainers now equipped to multiply light and truth through Community Health Evangelism.
Nicaragua
From Nicaragua we received the testimony sent by the FIEMCA CHE Team/GCE about a very precious volunteer CHE Woman Master Trainer Fatima.
Fatima has become a role model among the CHE Mesoamerica Region. She has trained many other ladies with the physical and spiritual lessons which have transformed her own family. Now Fatima is waiting patiently to enjoy the very first house from the partnership of 1Mission & FIEMCA/GCE as the CHE women voted for her to be awarded for her unconditional service to the whole community of El Limonal. Pray that many other CHE Women and families will be rewarded with a decent house too as God’s Provision will be forwarded to them also.
Guatemala
Reconstruction continues and grows! The post earthquake effects been taken care of.
Trying to get the Mam people smiling for pictures is as tough as having to unload their donated materials to raise their walls again. Here at the CHE village of el Tizate also some of the families whose homes were destroyed or severely damaged continue to receive a thrust through you and the CHEs. They will do the labor themselves.

CHEs Lining up to serve, not to get help.
The local CHE volunteers always making themselves available to put their hands to serve their neighbors.
Trusting in your ongoing prayer and involvement with all of us in GCE and the Mesoamerica Region to see the needed lives coming closer and closer to enjoy the Abundant Life in Jesus Christ as you and us already enjoy it.
On behalf of the Board of Directors of GCE and the Mesoamerica CHE Region field servants ,
