Happennings in CHE Mesoamerica June and July 2012

1) By early June Dr. Hugo was privileged to represent the Mesoamerica Region and Global CHE Enterprises at the International Council of Medical Ambassadors DBA LifeWind Int in Mount Hermon California.

All Regions and Leadership enjoyed time in prayer, reporting, fellowship, communion, all to reciprocally enrich relationships for the sake of the Kingdom of God through CHE.

2) Bethany Bible Church, Phoenix  Mission team members were blessed to enjoy a humbling reciprocal “feet wash” with our beloved local brethren during communion service at the CHE village of Xanchenel among the Mam in Guatemala last June. Besides ministering to the children, women, construction, medical and dental clinics the communion service was inspiring
and full of the Holy Spirit presence.

3) Community United Meth Church, Crofton MD returned to the CHE villages Las Granadillas and Las Barrancas to follow up work with the local school children and staff and construction project. The tough mountain road conditions are never a hindrance for this team to return every year.

4) CHE Woman is also exploding in El Salvador! 25 participants from the CHE Villages in Quezaltepeque completed the Training of Trainers TOT1 CHE Woman Seminar.

Our Regional Resource Facilitator Darling Lopez and Tania Master Trainer from Nicaragua plus Pastor Linda Rinzel and Miriam Gomez who taught crafts were invaluable instruments sent by God to have the women empowered to multiply the training among their communities.

It was so encouraging to  see the first fruit harvested, police officer Veronica surrendered her life to the Lord praying right there!

5) Mexico Area Coordinator Jacob Sotelo and team efforts and perseverance are bearing fruit.
One of the most difficult people groups to reach are now opening to the wholistic training in CHE, the Tarahumara people on the same range of Mountains.

In the picture above Tarahumaras playing the River Crossing Story to learn about comparing Relief results and Development impact.

Having the Tarahumara participating in CHE LePSAS teaching methodogy is a big reason to praise the Lord with us.
6) Focused Living Ministries South Carolina came on Mission trip to minister in La Tercera Calle Guatemala. Children led to Christ, patients led to Jesus, church facility been built, home visits along with the CHEs. They also visited the CHE Center Property to pray for the development process to continue soon.
The CHE Trainers have been working hard to continue the fencing process, below

7) At the end of July the village of San Marcos Niza Guatemala worked hard along the STM team from Saratoga Presbyterian Church California. The new facility for kitchen and classroom project in the local church began to take shape.
Games and haircuts plus home visits and ministering to women besides the medical dental clinic all added for harvest with the CHE process.
The games with children ministered to them and to the parents who culturally can not see themselves playing with their own children yet.
8) Our appreciation goes also to the STM team from First Baptist,Pine Arizona who ministered along the CHEs at the Village of El Suj on the high Cuchumatanes Mountains helping putting  the church´s kitchen floor plus dental and medical clinic.

9) Remember the children receiving Jesus a couple months ago? well, they continue to be discipled by the FIEMCA CHE team in Boaco Nicaragua. Pray for their growth.

Giving all Glory to Our Lord and Savior, all fruit belong to Him.

On behalf of GCE and the CHE Mesoamerica Region teams.

Hugo and Miriam Gomez.
