As result of the August GCE Board Commission meeting with Regional Office in Quetzaltenango Guatemala our Mesoamerica Regional Leadership met in October for follow up of local Strategic Planning. The week of prayer, discussions and setting of plans for the coming years led by David Johnson of Development Associates Int.-DAI- was so enriching, challenging and inspiring that all we need now is the blessing from High Above to accomplish for The Glory of God and Honor to Jesus Christ the Lord!.
For the new opportunities and doors which are opening to share CHE training with new organizations For the TOT1 seminars which have been accomplished in Honduras, Nicaragua ,Panama and Guatemala and TOT3 in Tecate/Tijuana Mexico within the last three months.
For the blessed weeks of Short Term Mission teams within the last months who have joined our CHE teams: Veterinary to Guatemala, Water well teams to Honduras and Guatemala bearing witness and fruit for His Kingdom. Also God blessed the well project to become completed for the village of San Andres Boaco in Nicaragua, Hugo Jr and Roger Pavon our Area Coordinator and locals saw the answer to prayer that now this village has water right there by their homes! and all in Jesus Name!.
For God has shown His plan for Christa our Daughter. She has been hired by the USA Embassy in Guatemala city and has been serving there as a RN since November 16! It was a miraculously quick process but she was chosen among several applicants.
Requests to carry before the Throne:
1) For the Matching Fund effort which our GCE Board has launched this year end. That Our Provider will do according to His Perfect
Will and Sovereignity.
2) For the Midwifery Training team returning to Guatemala in January. After several years of pause Lona Weaver RN, Board Member and Dr. Lisa Roberts supporter have received green light from above. Pray that out of the more than 80 midwives trained in the past,
at least 35 will be refreshed and re-encouraged to continue CHE Midwifery ministry delivering babies for Christ. We have also invited our CHE Women’s trainers from El Salvador to join this time
3) For the GCE Board meeting in January 9 and 10 in Phoenix Area. All our Board members have plans to attend.
4) For Hugo and Miriam travels to our son Mario Graduation from Texas A&M December 10-21. Miriam will fly Dec 10 and Hugo Dec 15.
We will drive from Miami>Texas>Miami together with Mario and Heydi. Mario’s job at Florida International University FIU is going blessed since September. Pray for Christa’s safety in Guatemala city, and for Hugo Jr and Gabriel to run the ministry and home as we will be away. We pray to spend Christmas together.
